As owners of a commercial orchard, we were often asked about pruning.
Learning from a book is difficult since your particular tree never looks
like the illustration. This video lets you watch the professional at work.
You see Gary Moulton actually pruning trees and telling you "what" he's doing and most importantly "why" he's doing it. He starts with the basics including; different tools, how trees grow, types of cuts, etc. These basics are then applied to newly planted trees, trees a few years old and finally the old neglected trees many have in their backyards.
Gary teaches that knowing the theories will take the mystery out
of pruning.
